• Payment information: Transaction status, purchased package, payment date, amount, and limited billing information supplied by our payment processor. We do not store payment-card numbers.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, login activity, error logs, and security-related information.
• Communications: Messages, support requests, feedback, and other information you choose to send us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your Skilj account.
• Provide job-search results and application-tracking features.
• Maintain and deduct your search-credit balance.
• Process purchases and verify successful payments.
• Provide customer support and respond to refund requests.
• Improve Skilj’s performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Detect fraud, bots, scraping, abuse, and security threats.
• Send essential account, security, purchase, and service messages.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle or another payment provider displayed during checkout. Skilj does not directly store your credit-card number or card security code. Payment providers may collect and process your payment and billing information under their own privacy policies. We may receive limited transaction information needed to confirm your purchase, update your credit balance, prevent fraud, and provide support.

5. Google Sign-In

If you create an account using Google Sign-In, we receive basic account information authorized by you, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We do not request access to your Google contacts, Drive files, emails, or calendar unless a future feature clearly requests your permission.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, understand how Skilj is used, and improve performance. Third-party analytics or payment providers may set their own cookies. Where required, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal job-search history to advertisers, recruiters, or data brokers. We may share limited information with:

• Hosting, database, email, analytics, security, and customer-support providers.
• Payment processors such as Paddle.
• Google, when you choose to use Google Sign-In.
• Professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
• Government authorities when required by applicable law.
• A successor organization if Skilj is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

8. Data Retention

We keep account and job-tracking information while your account remains active or as needed to provide Skilj. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize eligible account data within a reasonable period. Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups or be retained where required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, payment, or legal compliance.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no internet service, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of eligible personal information.

Skilj may link to external job listings and company websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Skilj is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of external websites.
